Not sure if this is the place to post but I recently set my nephew up with a bitcoin account to accept donations on Twitch/Youtube, is there a way to get a balance without giving him the account information?

I want to basically set up something that he can either just check the balance without him signing on to electrum or whatever so he doesn't send coins or give out wallet information. He is only 10 but understands the basics of how crypto works. He only has 60 subscribers and I figure they are all his age and don't even know bitcoin exists but I was going to drop a few dollars worth into his wallet every couple of days to get him into crypto young. Any help would be appreciated.

Edit: Thanks for the replies. Block explorer works great for what I needed. Thanks to everyone for the advice.

Setting up ledger with passphrase

Hey guys,
I hope that someone is willing to help me with this. I struggle super hard in understanding the concept of a passphrase for my ledger. Asking in the ledger sub led to very few answers and one was super condescending as well. So I try my luck here.
I have a leder live account where I have my bitcoin account set up with my Ledger1. Let's just say I have 1 BTC (I wish, haha).
I now have my backup ledger2. I create a new private key here.
When I get to settings, this is where my struggle starts. I do not understand the difference between "Attach to a PIN code" and "Set temporary passphrase".
I am assuming that by "attach to PIN phrase" I will have to enter my second PIN. Whenever my second PIN is entered, I will be asked for my passphrase and have access to my hidden accounts. When I enter my normal PIN, I'll just get to my standard accounts where I'd have a small amount of BTC in.
I'd create a new set of accounts in ledger live for my passphrase accounts and just transfer my 1BTC to those accounts. So far so good?

What does the temporary passphrase do then? I do not understand that part.

What I want is to have my ledger set up in a way that I can access my everyday wallet whenever I want by entering my normal PIN. But should I have to, I want quick access to my hidden wallet as well.
Thank you so much for your help.

My uncle who told me Bitcoin is a scam 6 months ago asked me today if I knew how to set up an account for his furniture outlets to accept Bitcoin and Ethereum here in California

Adoption is coming guys! It will take time but it’s coming New currencies are replacing old fashioned fiat. Borderless ones!
You ever tried pulling money from ATM while traveling abroad? Did you encounter the crazy fees?
That was the selling point of crypto for my uncle.
I was gonna recommend coinbase for him but the fees are high. Any recommendations guys?

(Noob q) Just set up account, can't buy bitcoin..Help!

Hi, I set up an account yesterday and sent £2 from my bank account to coinbase, which shows up in my coinbase wallet (it says GPB £2), but when I try and fill in an amount I want to buy that is more than £2, it says "you do not have enough money in this account". When I try and add my account details again, it recognizes the account but doesn't let me proceed. Do I need to go into my bank account again and send money over to coinbase the same way that I did before? I thought this wold be straightforward, but there is no guidance once you have sent that initial £2...please help!

I was wondering if there is a business opportunity for crypto consultants? Most small to medium businesses can't even set up and manage their own social media accounts. So they have no chance of setting themselves up to accept Bitcoin. So is there an opportunity to set up a consultancy business?

Regardless of the outcome of the contests, I want to thank this sub for getting me into bitcoin! Just set up my first coinbase & changetip account! Just a few questions...

I've had PayPal for 10 years (verified and everything). Will that still work too for this sub? I know PayPal seemed to be a problem for past winners, but if you've had and used PayPal for a long time, is this sub still going to be using it?
Also, how would I go about knowing what my bitcoin wallet is exactly? Besides simply connecting my changetip account to my reddit account and my coinbase account, how do I know what "bitcoin" address I have? I found my QR code and long address string using the app.
How do I send money to other bitcoin addresses using a QR code and my phone? I see the option to scan a QR code, but what if it's just an image online?
And one last one: how many bits are in a bitcoin? Or, roughly since everyone seems to be tipping 100 bits... How many US dollars is 100 bits?
Sorry if these are total noob questions. I just bought my first 1/4 bitcoin so I would be willing to try out this changetip thing on reddit as well for a top reply.
